Welcome to Pikku Peura – an exclusive game restaurant in the heart of Wild Forest Reindeer country.
Nestled beside the scenic Peura Trail and the Salamajärvi National Park, Pikku Peura offers a unique setting for private events, celebrations and meetings. We serve groups by reservation only, with a minimum group size of 10 guests.
Our warm and inviting venue accommodates up to 100 people and includes separate dining areas as well as a fully equipped meeting room.
Just 200 metres away, the Valkeisjärvi camping area provides additional cottages and facilities. Through our local partners, we can also arrange accommodation, guided activities and nature‑based wellbeing experiences tailored to your group.
Our kitchen highlights the pure flavours of the region. We specialise in game and wild herbs, and we are happy to design a customised menu for any occasion. Local ingredients are at the heart of our cooking: Kivijärvi pike perch, salmon and Lestijärvi vendace come from nearby entrepreneurs, while beef from Riihelä and Kalmari farms and Highland cattle are featured on our menus. Elk is sourced from local hunters, and on occasion we also offer wild deer and bear.
